I got the idea for today's blog topic in my mastermind meeting yesterday morning and also did a live presentation about it here as I introduced the new TAKE 10 - INSPIRED MARKETING with Susan Robichaud marketing initiative...
Our mastermind meets once every two weeks, first thing in the morning. Let me tell you if you haven’t done this yet, I highly encourage you to find a group of like-minded people who are on a similar journey. They will inspire, encourage and delight you! I know I am even more likely to take inspired daily actions if I surround myself with the right people who share a similar vibration to mine.
𝗦𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀?
1. You will feel like you are “In the Zone”
2. Everything just seems to flow seamlessly
3. It’s like time has literally stopped and you get more done in a shorter time frame
4. You are working harder, but it doesn’t feel hard at all
5. You might even forget to eat because you are "That Inspired" (lol) - I do that ALL the time!
We all know that running a practice and building a business takes an awful lot of focus, determination & consistency. I highly recommend if you haven't already, to begin looking or creating a mastermind group of your own. One that is right for you and with people who are on a similar journey and see what happens. You will know within the first meeting if it is right for you. I am sure you will all bounce ideas off each other and with this, you will be inspired to take action daily. Another benefit to this is that you will be held accountable and supported every step of the way, especially if you choose your mastermind wisely.
Another tip to help you take daily inspired actions is to remove the overwhelm by DOING A BRAIN DUMP. As you do this exercise, you will literally feel the pressures beginning to drop. I do this periodically when I feel the overwhelm coming on.
STEP #1: Take out a blank sheet of paper, lined or not, and write down everything that you need to get done, work-related or personal. Don't think into this at all, whatever comes to mind, write it down. I am a firm believer that if you thought about it, it means it is weighing on your mind and is worth writing down.
STEP #2: Next to each item, put a checkbox. This may feel a bit elementary, but believe me, there is so much power in putting a check mark when you complete a specific item.
STEP #3: Some people like to categories their lists to organize it a bit further. You could do this by choosing specific highlighter color for each category. I sometimes use (Business, Personal, Family). Others I have heard (High Paying Activities, Has to get done ASAP, Does not have to perfect). In your practice, you might want to use (Marketing, Finance, Staff).
Notice how you feel as you check items off your list. Also, notice how much quicker things get done and more inspired you will be because you have just let go of a ton of overwhelm. However, you decide to do this exercise is entirely up to you. This idea may not even work for you, and if that is the case, that's ok too! Be open to trying it if you are on the fence about it.
Items could include:
- Get a new website up and running
- Create a patient survey
- Make a list of blog topics
... etc and on and on 🙂

- 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗦𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝘂𝗻!
